About WHF Events

Each year, WHF puts on over a dozen events designed to respond to members' interests. Events range from panels to tours, large luncheons to small brown bags, parties to professional skill workshops. Events are held mornings, lunch hours and evenings.

Our programs feature state and local elected and appointed officials, financial institution executives, community-based and private real estate developers, and architects and planners, among others. We provide substantive programming with a unique view to an issue or idea. While we welcome both women and men, we make an effort to showcase women who are doing interesting work and providing access to mentors across generations and experience levels for women.

We strive to create a sense of intimacy and access at our events, without a sense of exclusivity. Members readily engage with other members and with guest speakers.

Our events change from year-to-year although we always have a mix of types of events. Below is an illustrative list of programming. To see upcoming events, please visit our Events Blog or sign up for our mailing list by emailing [email protected].
